Wręczenie Nagrody Lisy Meitner 2020

Uroczystość wręczenia Nagrody Lisy Meitner ze rok 2020 odbędzie się  jako webinarium Zoom w czwartek, 26 listopada o 16:30. Nagroda jest przyznawana co dwa lata przez European Physical Society Nuclear Physics Division:https://www.eps.org/members/group_content_view.asp?group=85199&id=904065. W tym roku otrzymają ją: Björn Jonson (Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden), Piet Van Duppen (KU Leuven, Belgium) i Klaus Blaum (Max-Planck-Institute for Nuclear Physics, Heidelberg, Germany) - trzech wybitnych badaczy pracujących na układzie ISOLDE za ich wkład w rozwój i wykorzystanie apararatury i technik badawczych,  za ich szczegółowe i systematyczne badania własnioścu jąder dalekich od stabilnosci i za ich wkład w rozwój programu naukowego dla instalacji ISOLDE, CERN. Szczegóły, jak się zarejestrować i uczestniczyć w ceremonii wręczenia Nagrody, która będzie zorganizowania jako specjalne wydarzenie podczas dorocznego ISOLDE Workshop and Users Meeting, można odnaleźć  na: https://indico.cern.ch/event/928868/overview. 2020 Lise Meitner Award Ceremony

The 2020 Lise Meitner Award Ceremony will take place as a Zoom webinar on Thursday November 26, at 16.30 CET. The award is given biannual by the European Physical Society Nuclear Physics Division:https://www.eps.org/members/group_content_view.asp?group=85199&id=904065 and goes to Björn Jonson (Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden), Piet Van Duppen (KU Leuven, Belgium) and Klaus Blaum (Max-Planck-Institute for Nuclear Physics, Heidelberg, Germany) - 3 generations of outstanding ISOLDE researchers for their development and application of on-line instrumentation and techniques, for their precise and systematic investigation of properties of nuclei far from stability, and for shaping the scientific program at the online isotope separator facility ISOLDE, CERN.
