Since October 2015, the University of Warsaw has been celebrating 200th anniversary. 525 employees, who extraordinarily contribute to the development of their faculties, and thus the entire University, were honored with Medals of the 200th Anniversary.

In Heavy Ion Laboratory silver medals were awarded to:

• Paweł Napiorkowski
• Krzysztof Rusek
• Julian Srebrny
• Anna Stolarz

The Medals ceremonies were held on 23rd and 30st November, 2016.
