Funeral ceremony of Prof. Jastrzębski

With deep sadness and regret we received the message about death of

Prof. dr. hab. Jerzy Jastrzębski

He was the builder of the Warsaw U-200P cyclotron and the Radioisotopes Production and Research Center, a long-term director, member and Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Heavy Ion Laboratory.

The funeral Holy Mass took place on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 11:00 in the St. Karol Boromeusz church at the Old Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw.

We said goodbye to the eminent scientist, initiator of new directions in nuclear physics research and the teacher of several generations of Polish researchers.
