On Saturday, the 16th of March, the DOKO will take place for the fifth time, since this year under the name of the Ochota Campus Discovery Day. Everyone interested in maths and natural sciences will be able to visit university buildings and take part in popular science activities. To the Heavy Ion Laboratory we invite to:

• lecture: Czy tablica Mendelejewa jest skończona? (14:15 – 15:00);
• guided tour of the Heavy Ion Laboratory (12:15 – 13:10).

On January 14-15, a conference will be organised at the Heavy Ions Laboratory. The main objective of the conference is an integration of Polish nuclear physics community. Possible future projects of low energy nuclear physics research will be presented and discussed. The conference is organised jointly by the Sections of Nuclear Physics of Polish Physical Society, HIL UW and IFJ PAN....
