Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in experimental low energy nuclear physics. The successful candidate will be employed in the Heavy Ion Laboratory, University of Warsaw, and will be involved in studies of nuclear structure, with emphasis on investigations of proton-rich nuclei using in-beam gamma-ray spectroscopy methods. He/she will be involved in experiments at GANIL (France) using the AGATA detector array in connection to NEDA, as well as in experiments at HIL and other laboratories. He/she shall take part in planning experiments, preparations, execution and analysis of data and interpretation of the results. He/she will be also encouraged to formulate his/her own research programme relevant to the position.

experience in simulations of detector systems and experiments using the Geant4 package;
programming skills (C, C++, python).
The interested candidates should provide:
a motivation letter with the description of particular skills, achievements and experience related to the application
a list of up to 10 publications which they consider most important;
