With deep regret we inform that Professor Adam T. Rudchik from the Institute of Nuclear Research of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, a long-time collaborator of our Laboratory and a user of the Warsaw Cyclotron, died today in Kiev at the age of 88. On Monday 25^th of March 2024,  at 17:00 in the room 0.06 of the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw prof. Yoo Ki-Pung will give a lecture Civilization, Climate Crisis & South Korea's Rise as a Nuclear Energy Powerhouse Professor Yoo is the Chancellor of Kepco International Nuclear Graduate School (KINGS), a Korean university specializing in nuclear energy education. KINGS has been supporting the University of Warsaw for years, including: financing long-term stays of students. Prof.'s visit Yoo is associated with the signing of a new agreement between KINGS and the University of Warsaw, based on which a European training center in nuclear energy will be established at the Faculty of Physics....
