NEDA @ HIL prePAC Workshop, 20-21 October 2021
NEDA (NEutron Detector Array) will be available for experiments at the Heavy Ion Laboratory (HIL) of the University of Warsaw during a period of about 1 year, starting in the second half of 2022. The array will work together with the EAGLE gamma-ray spectrometer. A workshop aimed at the discussion of experimental projects employing this setup will be held in Warsaw on 20-21 October 2021. The intention behind the workshop is to formulate, discuss and strengthen the ideas which will subsequently take the form of proposals, to be submitted to the HIL PAC. A PAC meeting is foreseen in December 2021 or January 2022.
Please read further on NEDA at HIL.
We invite you to formulate experimental proposals (or letters of intent) and to the workshop.
If you wish to participate in the event, please register at your earliest convenience. We would like to host all participants in Warsaw. For those who cannot appear in person, the possibility of remote participation will be provided, though. Note that a limited travel and/or accommodation support will be available. Please contact the organisers directly if you need such a support.
The workshop is sponsored by the University of Warsaw within the “Excellence initiative” programme.
