Katarzyna Hadyńska-Klęk distinguished by the Rector for scientific achievements

168 researchers from the University of Warsaw have been awarded with the Rector's Distinctions. This prestigious award is granted for outstanding scientific activity, including research and development work that significantly contributes to the growth and prestige of the University. On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, we received the sad message about the death of Dr. Witold Męczyński. He participated in many projects carried out at the Warsaw Cyclotron as a researcher of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow, and many of us had the honor of cooperating with Dr. Męczyński. He will remain in our memory as the constructor of the Recoil Nuclear Detector (RFD), with which we will soon begin measurements at SLCJ. More information on the IFJ PAN website....
